Habitat was my final piece from high school where we created our own interpretations of home. I created an installation sculpture that portrayed my own definition of what home is to me. The basic construction of this installation directly mimics the floor plan of my home in Korea, where I spent most of my childhood and adolescence. The ragged, worn-out details on wood represent growing bitterness, while the lime green color shows hopefulness, and the tension in the string conveys perseverance. In the last photo, I am physically interacting with the "habitat".
